Dr. Phil Henzlik, DMD and Dr. Lauren Henzlik, PhD utilize advancements in digital technology, enabling faster and more affordable care, providing the best patient experience. The doctors leverage computer-aided design techniques and 3D printing and milling technology with top-line clinical skills to expedite procedures and increase surgical precision.
Who are we?
Dr. Phil Henzlik, DMD received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology from the University of Wyoming (Go Pokes!), where he also played Division I Golf and was an Academic All-American. Phil attended Oregon Health and Science University and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine and was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Army upon graduation. After his time in service, Phil moved to Colorado where he was an associate for 4 years before he embarked on the lifelong dream to open a dental practice of his own. Dr. Phil has advanced surgical skills and can provide treatments including root canal therapy, implant placement and restoration, full mouth reconstruction, sinus lift procedures, and many others paired with innovative techniques to enhance patient healing.
Prior to opening Modern Mint Dental Care, Phil spent time training on various technologies to improve and digitize his dental approach. It just so happens that Dr. Lauren, Phil’s wife, has just the background to support these goals for Modern Mint. Dr. Lauren Henzlik, PhD has an extensive background in biomechanics and engineering, and will be leading the design, development, and manufacturing of 3D printed and milled dentures, surgical guides, crowns, bridges, clear aligners, and more. Her high-level engineering background has been instrumental in selecting, operating, and honing the digital equipment and technology that is used as a part of the Modern Mint approach.
Together, the Drs. Henzlik are excited to bring top-notch clinical and technological skills to the Erie & Lafayette areas to best serve patients’ needs.
