Dr. Philip Henzlik, DMD, or “Dr. Phil” as he is more commonly referred to, is excited to serve the communities of Erie and Lafayette, Colorado. Dr. Phil was born in Colorado and raised in South Dakota and is excited to have his dental clinic less than a mile from where his grandpa, a former dentist, lived for much of his life. Dr. Phil obtained a B.S. in Physiology from the University of Wyoming (2011) and was honored to receive a prestigious scholarship from the United States Army, which he used to attend Oregon Health and Sciences University for his DMD (2015). After serving in the United States Army as a dentist, Dr. Phil returned to Colorado to be in private practice for several years before going all-in on his dream of opening his own clinic—Modern Mint Dental Care.
Dr. Phil is known primarily for his overwhelmingly positive attitude and ability to put patients at ease. Phil is a certified implantologist and is passionate about restoring people’s smiles. Additionally, he is a proponent of, and expert in, digital dentistry. He uses the highest end and most advanced techniques in dentistry and dental technology to make patient care affordable, easy, and efficient.
In his free time, Phil loves to spend his days outside mountain biking, running, or skiing with his wife, Lauren, and their baby boy.
